Why are people suffering?
I hope you are ready for one of the biggest revelations of your life. At least it’s been to me when I first heard this and let it sink in, then gradually implemented it in my life.
It changed me completely.
The main reason for our suffering are thoughts. Yes, exactly. More precisely believing our thoughts as being real, true.
Does that sound weird?
Just read on.
We know as a fact from science that thoughts trigger emotions. That means that the way you think soon starts to be the way you feel.
For example if you have a thought about you not being enough, very soon you will feel sad, disappointed, demotivated.
But if you think about the night out with your best friends, you feel joyful, happy, hopeful.
Let that sink in!
We believe thinking happens to us and we have no control of what’s going on in our heads. This is true until you start awakening, becoming more and more conscious and taking back the control. With no “boss” in position, chaos is normal.
You can choose your thoughts!
I remeber years ago when I heard this, I didn't really understood what that means. Later in an Echart Tole's videos I've also heard, thinking as such is unneccesary. Most of your day you don't need thinking. I found that funny. I mean I've had short periods of times when there is was no thinking but completly turning it off for hours is definetly something a lot of us would love to experience! Just Silence :D
Of course it needs practice like everything else.
It starts by becoming more and more aware of what’s going on inside you. Coming back to Here and Now, connecting to yourself more and more often. Checking in: What am I thinking about all day long, what are my recurring thoughts? how do I feel most of the time?
You will find your patterns. We have around 70.000 thoughts a day, but 95% of them are the same as the previous day. That's shocking!
Why is important to start this little self-observation quest?
These are the first glimpse of freedom. You Consciousness will start expanding. You start realizing that you can observe what you think, and even later choose what you think, you start taking back control over your life.
Take responsibility for what's going on in there and start changing it.
And most importantly your thoughts and emotions are the KEYS to a new future.
Science proved: our thoughts and emotions create our reality.
The way you think and the way you feel create an electromagnetic field around you which has a vibration, and this vibration attracts situations, people, circumstances which are alike. Alike attracts alike. This is the Law of attraction.
Start it today. With little steps. The more you connect with the present moment the more momentum will take.
Start choosing thoughts that make you feel good.
Choose to think about all the things you have rather than what you don’t have.
Think about all the reasons you love where you are, all the reasons you love what you do, all the reasons that prove how lucky you are, how many people love you and how many people you love.
And just feel GRATEFUL.
